Hi,
I went for a walk on the shore south of Ville-Marie Qc and I could see more than 200 Herring gulls and one Glaucous gull. Most of the birds were on the ice all around the open water. They took flight when an adult Bald eagle was in sight, soaring with a raven very high.
I was surprised I could not find any ducks on the water.
In a couple of weeks, there will be more than 5000 gulls roosting there at night.
