there were perhaps as many as a dozen redwinged blakbirds at the marsh today march 18th we scattered some corn near the feeder nets to entice them to hang around as well there were redpolls in the hundreds we banded 160 today in less than 3 hours. it was the redwings that stole the show not sure what the record is for their early arrival but this seems pretty happily early
