over the past two days over 100 redpolls have been banded in less the 2 hours of net time and today we managed to band our first  Junco at gilles lake . The terra students are quickly becoming quite skilled at taking birds out of the nets so we can anticipoate an excellent banding season at th marsh I am very proud of their progress and dedication todays banders were Zak Martel Alex Guillimette Tyler Belanger  and Cassy grant

Then the next day at murphs.  the juncos went near, but manadged to avoid getting caught in the nets. In better news, there was a couple of Evening Grossbeaks hanging around, but like the juncos we din't catch any. We might have, if we would have had the other nets up. but we coud'nt. There were just too many red poles and not enough people.
