Wood ducks, shovellers, pintails, black ducks, and greater yellowlegs Casey Twp

Went for a drive to Belle Vallee yesterday and saw the above mentioned birds, as "First Sightings"

Dianne & I also saw hundreds of canada geese, mallards, goldeneyes, herons, sandhill cranes, a shrike, snow buntings, american tree sparrows, 16 rough-legged hawks, 3 harriers, 6 kestrels, hundreds of robins, redwing blackbirds, grackles, starlings, crows, ravens, and gulls. Identification of the yellowlegs as "Greater" came courtesy of Mike Werner, who viewed them with us after we met on a back road near Judge. Happy Birding!
