Timiskaming Birds Forum

This morning I was about to band an Eastern Wood-Peewe when it escaped from my frozen hand by some kind of ninja move.  It would have been my first banded ever, but it was 151st species identified for 2009.

I presume that of the species in your total, not all have been banded.  That's a pretty impressive total for one person so far this year.  Our cumulative group total for Timiskaming is sitting at 158 species (at least by my reckoning) so far this year, but that's not including stuff that Bruce and his students have banded that has not been reported on these forums, which probably includes, at a minimum, most of the rest of the expected warblers. 

I banded much less than 151 species.  The 'regular' warblers I'm missing are the Connecticut and Pine.
