Cool Gavin. It looks like this bird is increasing, at least according to anecdotal evidence from Timsikaming District. I still have a hard time believing that these are all escapees. The normal life span of these birds in the wild can't be much more than 8 years or so, I would think. So if the major escape/release event took place in 2002 as purported, then we must be getting close to the end of the original escaped birds, but observations seem to be increasing in frequency instead of decreasing.
