Black Backed Gull

I was really hoping to make this one a Lesser, (because I don't have one yet) but it is more likely a Great. I found it in Robin's area today on Lake Nipissing. It is difficult to judge the color of the legs from the distance. The back is quite black, it does appear larger than the other gulls - Herring, I believe... I have trouble with gulls...

Saw a Great Black-backed Gull this morning en route to Englehart in a field south of Earlton with hundreds of other gulls.(No photos.)

Also saw my first Rough-legged Hawk of the season this morning along Hwy. 562 at the south end of Armstrong Twp.
