 Mike W., Mark M., Each of you know of the location of a Bank Swallow community on private property in the Kenabeek area. It may be the same. Mark spoke of hearing of at least 200 birds. I see BSC is looking for info on Bank Swallow populations in Ontario. (See http://www.birdscanada.org/birdmon/onbans/main.jsp ) Have either of you confirmed these yet?

I have not visited the location of the colony I am familiar with yet this year, but it was definitely a breeding colony of Bank Swallows two years ago.  I will see if I can find time to visit in the next week or so to see what's going on there this summer.
