We are getting most new arrivals a few days after they have been spotted inthe Tri-Towns. Lots of sparrows: white throat, song, chipping, tree. Tree swallows, juncos, goldfinch, turkey vultures, sandhill cranes, harriers have been here for a while. Nary a warbler so far. I spotted a male goldfinch today checking out an old nest from last year. I have been taking notes on old nest in the neighbourhood for follow-up over the summer. Looking forward to Birdathon day on the 16th - hope the weather is good.
