Ann has been hearing Cedar Waxwings for a few days (good ears) and we finally saw a flock feeding over the Blanche River in Swastika yesterday. We walked the usual route through the park and there are still no warblers around compared to last year at this time. We have seen a few Yellow-rumped and Palm warblers on earlier excursions - will keep up the patrols. Siskins and Goldfinches at the niger feeders and those garden-raiding flocks of White-crowned Sparrows appear to be gone.
